Our Pillars

Our work is grounded in three pillars: Health & Wellness, Youth Development, and Race Equity, designed to strengthen minds, bodies, and communities through equitable, prevention-focused care.

Health & Wellness

SB Wellness Foundation advances mental, emotional, and physical well-being through culturally responsive, prevention-focused programming. This pillar is intentionally structured across two integrated divisions: Mental Health and Fitness & Nutrition.

  • The Mental Health division focuses on increasing access to therapy, mental health education, emotional regulation skills, and stigma-reduction initiatives, particularly within underserved and historically marginalized communities.

  • The Fitness & Nutrition division promotes physical wellness as a protective factor for mental health through movement-based programming, nutrition education, and lifestyle interventions that support stress reduction, energy balance, and overall health.

Together, these divisions address the mind–body connection and support sustainable, holistic wellness outcomes.

Youth Development

We invest in the social-emotional, academic, and leadership development of youth and young adults by equipping them with tools for emotional regulation, confidence-building, resilience, and healthy decision-making. Our programs support positive identity formation and long-term well-being across educational and community settings.

Race Equity

SB Wellness Foundation addresses systemic mental health disparities impacting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color by advancing equitable access to care and culturally grounded interventions. Through community-based engagement, advocacy, and education, we work to dismantle barriers to mental health services and promote healing rooted in cultural understanding and collective resilience.
